Dermadeep has been designed for
correcting very pronounced nasolabial folds and for
remodelling facial contours by adding extra volume where
required (cheeks, cheekbones and chin). Hyaluronic acid serves
here as an injection vector. Thanks to its viscoelastic and
fluid properties, the positioning of the Acrylic Hydrogel
particles is easy, accurate and reliable.
Indications/Usage:
DermaDeep is injected more deeply into
the sub-cutaneous tissue, close to the periosteum (the tissue
just above the bone). It gives good results on deep nasolabial
grooves and provides an effective augmentation for both the
chin and cheeks.
After each injection of Dermadeep, around
40 % of the implant is retained permanently in the dermis. The
hyaluronic acid disappears within a few weeks, which gives the
acrylic hydrogel particles time to be evenly placed throughout
the dermis. During the 3 months following the injection, these
particles are surrounded by new collagen fibres produced by
your own body thanks to a natural process, which complete the
filling of the treated area.
Side Effects:
A little redness and oedema, with or
without pain, may develop after the injection, usually
disappearing spontaneously within a few hours or
days.Occasionally, a localised inflammatory reaction may occur
several months after the injection, which can happen with any
implant (resorbable or non-resorbable). Although these
complications are occasional, you need to be informed about
such possibilities. Ask your doctor for a description of the
risks associated with any treatment in which you are
interested.If any side-effect appears, immediately consult
your doctor who will start the appropriate treatment.
Precautions:
Despite its permanent nature cannot stop
the skin ageing process. Therefore one or more retouching
sessions may be needed after a few years. These treatments may
be performed in about 30 minutes (e.g. during lunch break).
