Suplasyn
(pronounced SUP-la-sin) is the non-animal-derived, non-heat
degraded treatment that's safe and proven to relieve the pain
and stiffness associated with mild to moderate osteoarthritis.
Suplasyn's primary method of action is direct replenishment of
a joint's natural lubrication. Although it is most often used
for joint-specific treatment of the knee, Suplasyn can also
bring significant relief to many joints affected by
osteoarthritis, including the hip, shoulder, and elbow.
Indications/Usage:
Suplasyn's
primary method of action is direct replenishment of a joint's
synovial fluid. Injections are administered once a week for
three weeks and take place in your physician's office or
clinic (your physician may also refer you to a specialist).
Results may vary depending on the severity of your condition.
In severe cases, additional injections may be beneficial.
Side
Effects:
Transient,
short-duration pain may occur following intra-articular
injection. The affected joint may show a local reaction, such
as mild pain, feeling of heat, redness, or swelling. For most
patients, these side effects disappear after a few days.
